And the curtain goes up...

The Weinberg Center's curtain goes up...at the Frederick Visitor Center at least.  We're not sure when our friends at Frederick's Weinberg Center for the Arts will be able to raise their curtain again, but while the Frederick Visitor Center has been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we've been able to replace the giant photo mural that depicts the interior of the former Tivoli Theatre.  The original vinyl was showing its age, and the Weinberg had been repainted in the intervening years.  When we reopen in the not too distant future, be sure to check it out.  All part of our goal to keep our exhibits looking good as we near the tenth anniversary at 151 S. East Street.  Thanks to Bricking Graphics & Coatings for installing the mural produced for us by Exhibit Concepts onto a new substrate prepared by Triple Crown Construction.  Thanks also to Harriet Wise who took both the original photo a decade ago and this beautiful new image!
